Celebrate the legacy of Cesar Chavez and the spirit of farmworking through your creativity! We are now accepting submissions for our 4th Annual Cesar Chavez Art & Poetry Contest.
We鈥檙e looking for original artwork and poetry that depict Cesar Chavez, tell his story, or capture inspiration from farmworking.听
The contest is open to all ages, divided into three groups: youth (up to 12 years), high school (13鈥�18 years), and adults (18 years and older). There will be 18 winners in total, with three winners in each category and age group, and 1st place winners will receive $150.听
All submissions must be original and created within the past two years. The deadline to enter is April 3, 2026, and winners will be announced at our A Farmworker鈥檚 Journey event on April 16, 2026, at Wolf Lakes in Sanger, CA.听
